Membership and add-ins
The RafikiArdhi add-ins check results in soil and environmental research. They use no AI, run offline, and nothing you enter leaves your computer.
The beta is free, and it stays free. It already includes the full equation checker and every check with typed or pasted values. The paid version unlocks everything, and what we learn from the free version shapes it.

Join the community
Joining RafikiArdhi is free. Members get:
- early access to new code and tools;
- additional code, such as R functions used in our research;
- news, updates and discussion in the members’ community on Zulip;
- all add-ins for $15 a year instead of $20, once the paid version opens.
How it works:
- Sign up with ORCID, GitHub or Zenodo, or fill in the form.
- We email you a welcome message with your own $15 member code.
- Zulip emails you an invitation to the RafikiArdhi community, where members discuss research, code and equations.
Everything else is on your account page: the R playground, the members’ discussion and proposing a tool.
Contribute a tool, get everything free
We promote open ideas. If you develop a tool that we publish on this website, you get all add-ins free. The tool must:
- be free to use;
- use no AI;
- run offline, in the user’s browser or on their computer;
- support research.
Members propose a tool from their account page. If it fits, we work with you to publish it on this website and in our Zenodo community, where it gets a DOI with you as its author, and all add-ins are yours free for the year. Contribute again to renew.

Questions
Will the free version be taken away? No. The beta version stays free. The paid version adds to it.
What exactly does the paid version unlock? In Word: reading values from the highlighted text or the whole document, adding the findings as comments, and exporting results, on every check. More features are added to the paid version over time.
How do I unlock it after paying? You receive a licence key by email. Paste it into the add-in once.
Who handles payment and tax? Payments are processed by Stripe, which also handles sales tax and VAT.
