Ctrl+Enter runs the current line or selection and Ctrl+Shift+Enter runs the whole script. In the console, Enter runs, Shift+Enter adds a line, ↑/↓ go through earlier commands and Ctrl+L clears it. On a Mac, use Cmd.
R runs in your browser with webR; nothing you type is sent to a server. The first run downloads R (about 15 MB), so it takes a moment. Packages loaded with library() are installed automatically from the webR package repository; most popular packages are available. Objects you create stay in the workspace until you press Reset R or leave the page.
